Loveland and Berthoud 0". I went back to bed for my vacation away from worky.
Bert was teh suck this morning. Crusty even on North facing slopes...
4-8" or 4-8 snowflakes? Doesn't really matter since even 8" wouldn't have covered up the crust.
yeah, total bust. Even Alta got skunked....they only got a foot this time.
ROLL TIDE ROLL
well now it doesn't hurt as much that my power steering pump exploded in my jeep and I don't have transportation to the mountains
Is it even worth going up tomorrow? I haven't skied since Sunday and have some school work I could get out of the way but would rather ski if the conditions are decent. Anyone ski breck/vail today or yesterday? Are any of the storms in the forecast going to be good?
it's raining in Eagle Vail, hope for better later and up high...
sleet snow mix, looking better ...

Super wet brown snow at Breck
Noaa just bumped the LPass predict up to 6-10 for today.
any reports on VAIL or the Beav for today?
Don't take any guff from these swine.
One more storm midweek, then it looks like it is Spring time!
Breck was horrible today. The snow was rock hard and up top the visibility sucked most of the day, making already shitty ice mogul skiing even less enjoyable. However, it was puking when I left but they would need probably more than 6"-8" to cover the ice underneath. Anyone hit Vail today? If I see another 6+ in the morning I think it could be pretty awesome mid April skiing.
snowed all day in Vail today, but the snow level was probably close to 9k. Rain most of the day on the valley floor, mixed with snow at times. The wife said the mountain was skiing pretty well.

24 inches in 48 hours in tride. Snow levels were below town. One of our biggest storms this year.

Don't take any guff from these swine.
THIS SLOW MOVING SYSTEM PROMISES TO
BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO THE HIGH COUNTRY...AND ITS COLD ENOUGH WITH
-30C AT 500 MB/-8C TO -10C AT 700 MB...FOR SNOW TO REACH INTO THE
LOWER VALLEYS AS WELL.

When is this next storm supposed to hit?
CAIC:
"The leading edge of the next storm on arrives Tuesday afternoon."
"There will be a strong burst of snow with the front. In the models, the low tracks very slowly eastwards, and sends pulses of heavy snow through Colorado through Saturday night."
If the models are correct, and we get that slow southern track, not only could this bring big snows for our mountains, the frontrange could see a mid-april snowstorm too!
Next week is looking above average and WARM! Get it while it's good. Thurs/Fri should be legit.
