beav saturday and vail sunday. not the suck.

beav probably had solid 10 of soft over multiple days, the side country boot pack was off the wall good.

vail was soft all over probably 4-5 on top of a softer layer so the whole thing was great. just had the bros remounted more foward. east vail was fucking amazing, deep deep deep.

so despite the forecasts and the reports, there was some excellent stuff to be had i'd highly recommend east vail soon.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

That it does, but the high pressure moving in at the end of the week makes me tingle. Hoping for some high alpine action that I've been craving.

The flow shifting to the NW tomorrow sounds exciting. Steep drop off once it passes but still could produce a good dump that Eagle County needs. High pressure doesn't look to last too long this time...maybe 3 or 4 days before the next L begins to roll our way.

I see mention of mild Northwesterly in the forecast later Tuesday into Wednesday. Hope the Gore Range has it's catchers mitt on for this incoming storm

nature of the storm really. Snow will become scattered yet convective after noon today and should remain that way until it wraps up tomorrow.

Now I regret typing that 20 minutes ago this morning, the snow has shied away

My gut says today may not have enough snow to excuse ditching work. The weather guessers would point to wednesday as the day to call in sick...

if it was a Northwest wind and convective, that might not suck for Vail?

( it is snowing again *fingers crossed)

That was a strong little storm wave there, broke a branch off the tree in front of my condo. Snowed hard for half an hour or so. Now sun back out?? Crazy weather this morning.

I'm going up tomorrow for sure, but I have a dentist appointment(no, I'm not a dentist) on Thursday morning, and need to cancel it 24hrs ahead of time. Should I be doing this now, or will Wednesday be just as good as Thursday??????

Looks like Steamboat will be the ticket tomorrow. 4-8 today + 7-11 tonight + 4-8 Wednesday morning. This shows 0.48" of water so you're looking at 2% snow.

    WTF.

moisture really lacking on radar returns now. Perhaps a dry slot and the machine will fire back up later. Bluebird in Edwards currently.
