Fess up, who was the guy getting impatient in Sunday afternoon EB traffic driving like you were somehow gonna pass everyone in your new Highlander.

Not the biggest storm(s), but cold air will hang around for 7-10 days...

It'll be a slower start to this storm than earlier thought, with the heaviest snow not until sunrise Tue through Tue night.

IMO...that is a good thing Joel. It'll be cooler for less rain and more snow.

Agreed - still above freezing on Fremont & Vail passes as of 10 pm. Looks like the timing of that cold front was so slow that it missed getting in the way of the bulk of the SSW moisture flow. Lets hope for white in the morning (not drip-drip-drip off the roof)

Snowed hard here(El Jebel) for about 45mins. The clouds are breaking up and blue sky is showing. I say we ended up with about 1.5". Higher up has defiantly received more snow.

now that the front has passed the snow appears to be over here in Eagle County...an inch or 2 maybe for the valley floor...not sure about the mountain. At least it's colder.

The MSBHI (montanaskier butthurt index) is trading at today's session's highs, but still well off its 2008 peak.

blah blah blah, not weather related, but I-70 and 6 E are both closed now. I-70 is closed in multiple places to avoid backup at floyd hill. So any of you getting some runs in, might as well stay the course!

those levels will never be seen again. I'm not close to butthurt about the weather today. I do like the cold today however.

For what it is worth, this pattern is favorable for our snowpack long term. Long term light snow events are preferred over a massive dump than a dry spell. It looks like we will have a nasty bottom layer to contend with given the early season snow, but hopefully we can some uniform layers on top.

Standard Colorado snowpack. For anyone living here, this should always be one of your assumptions.

Agreed. Everyone always makes a big deal out of it, but it happens 9/10 years,

Best post in about 25 pages...

The upper elevations are pretty socked in again. We had some blue skies for a while around noon. Had a smidgen under 4" on my car this morning of decently wet snow.
