Not this weekend, but in the future. Just thought I would throw it out there for you to ponder.

just looked at the weather.....wow, 4-8 then an additional 10-20?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Southwest flow does not favor Vail but the Beav could get it pretty good. A good spring dump would be really nice. Fingers Crossed.

Same flow that gave Crested Butte and Aspen all those early dumpages.

I bet up high will be good, but will most likely be rain in the valley which will limit accumulations. Was predicited to be 40 today and right now it is 52. A ways to go to cool off enough, we'll see.

Doesn't look like tomorrow is possible due to classwork. Hopefully we get some more later this week.

Went out today. Everyone is right, there is no good snow left in CO. We did not ski north facing meadows off Fremont Pass, and they sure weren't soft...

Everyone do their snow dance tonight!!!! Gonna check snow totals tomorrow, but if it turns out like I'm hoping, tomorrow will be another Monarch Monday!!!!
Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

In Breck right now, and it's not snowing yet. Hope we get a bit tonight still though.

Hopefully it is still dumping at Noon Monday since I can't head towards the hills until then.

I deserve some powder for how hard I've worked the last few weeks...

up in dillon, been snowing off and on late afternoon. Looked like it was moving in thick over the gore just before sundown. Hopefully the beav gets some.

I've unfortunately been burning the midnight oil getting some billing done.
Every so often I have taken a look at the clouds rolling through on satellite.
Vail got hit for a while, and then they had clearing skies.
Glenwood Springs has been getting hammered.

I have to work for a while in the am and then will be going somewhere snowy.

Interesting pattern shaping up this weekend as static instability will be firing on all cylinders each afternoon. Look for widespread convective snow that will certainly dump in some spots and miss others.

Models are kind of out of sync, but the EC and GFS seem to converge on a solution which brings another round of heavy mountain snow and possibly some Front Range upslope for the Wed-Friday morning time frame. Ridge looks to build back in for the weekend.

My bum knee and moving into the new house will have me likely sidelined for sometime, so enjoy it folks.

This was a powerful storm. Had some thunder and lightening last night. Looks like the final phase is pushing thru right now. Should start to diminish in an hour or so.

I have to drive to Denver at 5am tomorrow......not cool.
