I credit the valium. Wish I had this procedure a few weeks ago when it was -26ºF at my house.

still seemed smooth yesterday from what I could tell, maybe a lot of traffic up the pass from people getting in at the same time. early riser filled maybe before 9, high noon full by around 10ish and parking up from there. I feel like saturdays will be more similar to this for the remainder of the season but who knows.</p>

Yes, Cirque is open almost daily. While all thinks Wanker Park are a bit lose and janky behind the scene, the app and website do a pretty good job on real-ish time terrain openings and mountain status. Yesterday was probably about as close as we get to a sneaky weekend powder day.

Some nice untracked turns yesterday. Not too crowded because of the superbowl. Hoping for more snow in the coming days. I didn't get to ski 3 bears, maybe a mechanical problem?

Joel gratz says all systems go, seems like the storm is on track with a good dump possible for southern mountains. hoping for the upside here in summit. another Saturday powder day? and presidents weekend. will all the front range come up or assume its too busy? tough to even say at this point.skied the basin yesterday and the lower alleys could sure use some more snow in them, otherwise the mountain is skiing good. Gauthier and waterfall are some pretty messed up skiing right now. They opened lower east wall for a while on Sunday and again yesterday afternoon but I didn't go in there. upper needs a little more snow but I would say its pretty close. patrol was making a bunch of cuts and turns off willies and over to corner chute yesterday.

Denver schools are out Fri-Mon so I’m sure this weekend is going to be a shitshow.

Entrances into the Steep Gullies were all fucked up the last time I was up a week and a half ago. Don't know if Patrol or some hack skiers did it but it was kinda a bummer. Hopefully some new snow and wind will resolve that.

Hopefully the storm delivers down south this weekend. It’s desperately needed. I’ll be skiing Wolf Creek Thurs-Sat

Breck is skiing well but hoping this round of storms this week truly resets it out there. A lot of the high alpine still has random reefs that are quite hidden at times.

Patrol opened Banana at CB yesterday. I thought it would suck given the way most openings this year have been, but it was kind of awesome in a non-pow way. Because it slid earlier in the year, it was all bed surface. It might as well have been groomed from top to bottom. It's so rare that it isn't chock full of fucked up bumps.

That said, this season is currently a top 3 worst season of the 27 I've been here. I sure hope it finishes strong, starting this week.

Aspen's below average on snow, but we've had a much better than average season. Today’s 6" finished completely resetting the conditions.
Any full Icons should really consider coming up tomorrow for the weekend.

In Aspen currently, and I concur, the conditions today were quite soft for 6".

Tomer says "a bit more" is coming.

Anyone down in Boulder/Denver, I very very highly recommend this show: https://www.z2ent.com/events/detail/big-richard-2025-bt

The Tone Unit will blow your mind, and Big Richard will make you laugh and in awe. Trust me on the music stuff.

    You would hope so!

CAIC looks like it has discontinued this product https://avalanche.state.co.us/daily-snowfall

Anyone got a good work around or alternative? I'm trying to answer "what SNOTEL in Colorado has received the most snow in the last 24hrs"

Does this do the thing you're looking for? I messed around with it for about 10 minutes and got it to here...
