Only a few years ago, that was about the cost of the A-Basin midweek season pass (early bird pricing).

I’m sure local Loveland skiers will be happy when less people are there but yeah, it’s just too much, especially when The Ridge opens in full for a month and a half every season…not just last season.

I think half of those Loveland packs end up on Craigslist.
Crickets on the Silverton expansion, I guess that's a 2024 / 2025 thing.

I have sold mine occasionally, not usually on CL but same idea. It's always challenging to decide when to sell (ie decide that you won't use them) when one of the best times to ski LL is in the spring, but if you don't sell them early enough, there's a glut and you can't get your money back. That was a problem when the tickets were $40-$50, but as the price creeps to $70, it's a bigger problem.

And now that many of the resorts are staying open later, the value of LL tix to me is lower. It used to be great to have them to ski in April, but now I can count on the Jane being open then too, and that is "free".

I have a lot of friends on loveland patrol who can't stand the way the director allows them to open terrain, literally the most conservative of any mountain for no reason.

Yeah...hopefully things change a bit when he retires...but that still seems like it could be a while. The crew who work 9 are good folks.

Yea I always buy the Luv 4 pack with intentions of using it in April/May. Last season had about 5 ticket offers as we were getting geared up at the car. I think this year I’ll pass on buying one and just pick one up on CL or show up and hope to find one there.

seriously, for you, that is a no-brainer.

for me, it sounds like a great idea, but I also have to convince the GF to get it, and realistically, with a full ikon pass, not sure it makes sense to pay all that money for a non-ikon travel-to resort (when I could go to Aspen, Jackson, Utah, etc). As much as I do love CB.

SRSLY. I've been kinda debating getting an Epic pass product since we moved to Saladville, but I'm just so much more interested in Jackhole or Altabird for when I travel to ski. And also I don't really give two shits or a fuck about really any other VR resort*. This is perfect though, I should be able to squeak at least 2-3 days out, what with a flexy schedule and all. And speaking of Jackson, I've gotten skunked on conditions the last couple of years... so if/when you plan a trip up there and if you wouldn't mind a mediocre mouth-breather skier tagging along I'd potentially be interested in joining ya.
