Storms last week seemed to go further south than expected. Rain around Durango, blue skies in Silverton. For what that's worth.

Hope you are right on colder temps. 6” of heavy, wet is not my idea of snow removal bliss this evening after a much lighter dawn patrol xc tour. Especially if we do get 2 or 3’. I was told to expect the possibility of 80 mph wind gusts Wed.

Welp we are snowed in once again. Snowed probably 6" in the last 3 hours in town. Silverton Mountain won't even open tomorrow due to the rising danger closing the road to the mountain. See ya after the storm ya'll!

This makes me happy except for the fact that there will be at least 3 more fatalities before we close out this season. Mr. Greene, I wouldn't want your job. It's like a Tarantino movie at this point, and mister pink is not the culprit.

This is how I feel about the Colorado Snowpack:

Raining, super saturated deep snow, roof & avalanches, power fluctuations high winds, followed by big temperature drop. What could possibly go wrong?

Dropped the wife off at the Montrose airport this morning the drive back to Gunnison was pretty sketchy. The good news is I am going to play bachelor for the next 5 days and it is dumping at CB. Probably going to get a whole more turns in than honey dos.
