Nah, but don't you hate it when you try to plan stuff around the fact that the weather man said it was gonna rain and then it never actually rains, so then you've sat there cleaning your house or some bullshit all weekend when you could have been out doing much better stuff? Luckily that didn't happen to me.

It's definitely rained a bunch here, was hoping it was all over. Ah well.

Been a cool and wet 10 days. As hot and dry as it was, it’s been the opposite of late. Has felt great,
Dirt has been awesome, and they’re going to relax fire restrictions after the holiday. Let’s keep it rolling!

Well, I got three amazing days, great dirt, great temps.
The intermittent rains were not a problem at all. Golden was really green!

Sorry I missed you. Off surfing so I can’t complain. Next time hopefully, at least for beers.

Is it just short-term, or is the monsoon pattern setting up for the summer?

In my line of work we mostly concerned that flash flood warnings watches are enacted. Pattern length is fairly unpredictable but the monsoon is definitely here. I've driven 1000 miles in the past few days to see how the creeks are responding. I may not have a relaxing weekend if it hits the burn areas.

The monsoon is "official" when the dew point in Tucson is 54°F or above for 3 consecutive days. Looks like that's gonna happen.

Holy shit, some weather stations in Boulder have recorded 1"+ of rain in the last 20 minutes. Flash flood warning

Absolutely nuking here in Niwot. I took this shot from the end of our street about 10 minutes before it started pouring.

Greeley got 4" of rain in an hour earlier.

We had a brief shower in SW Littleton where the rain drops were about the size of small frogs... it was pretty cool.

I’m in SW Littleton and only saw regular drizzle. Must be really isolated small frogs.
