What am I missing? Was getting prepared to finally use the mental health day my boss has been offering for passholder day tomorrow.
Talking to friends there is sounds like Silverton got doughnut holed a bit on this one. Bummer for sure, but passholder day should still be good.

How’s the snow up higher? Lighter or surfy since this storm is out of the south?

Close to a foot in central boulder, super wet and heavy and coming down pretty strong now. As good snow fort material as you'll get. Trees are not taking this well...whatever weak limbs survived the october storm are gonna bite it today.

I thought I saw a bit today up high in Breck actually.

skied great though! Everything up high opened quicker today, sans wind for most of the storm.

Parents house in Deer Creek Canyon is up to about 21"-22" total so far, with about 12" of that since this morning.

Eldora has whole lines that are hitting me above my knee cap. I just measured that. About 23” from bottom of my ski to the top of my knee cap when flexed. So there’s that.

A basin skies considerably better than 4”. Maybe closer to 8 in the trees. Not busy. Snow wasn’t super wet, but wasn’t dry Pow either.

The coverage under the new snow wasn’t great though, hit a decent amount of rocks underneath today

Huh? Far from a dud. Delayed a little, but the real action was always slated for overnight Sat/Sun and through Sunday. Looks like forecasts will verify pretty much everywhere, with some upside beats.

Probably because they easily got another 6" after the 4" morning report?

Been seeing some news blips. They would have us believe 70 an 25 are shut down and your getting buried in 3 or 4 feet in in the mountains

Telluride was super good today. Some comically deep groomer turns and many faceshots to be had.

Gold Hill finally opened around 2pm and delivered two killer runs before I had to take off.

Not sure all will verify. Is Winter Park on track for 52”? Estes Park 91”?

Storm is cranking in the Fort Collins foothills. Hard to really tell but we must be at 30+ inches of heavy ass snow, and still dumping. House is buried. Full on blizzard conditions with 5-6ft drifts across our neighborhood roads.

This was a bit of dust in the snowpack at Loveland as well. Disappointing but also gave good contrast in flat light.
