Good day for running, yard work, and outside beer drinking down low.

Buddy just got off of meeker and said there was white stuff up high.

Yeah, Daly has snow on it visible from the valley floor. Confirmed dusting on the high peaks.

Guess you guys better have your wives start working for Vail. Employees and their dependents don’t have any restrictions except for a few blackout days.

Glad mine just got her job back at the Patagonia in town...

Merchant should get the early season pass only stuff, but wouldn’t expect much more than that.
My better half is likely going to back to her winter VR gig, so that would be good other than this whole pandemic thing which has me less stoked about it. But, if it gets us out of ressies, then give em hell hon.

doubt it on merchant passes unless your company is tied to VR.

I will say I've been talking with quite a few sorta higher up VR employees and it really sounds like local passholders are not going to have many issues getting to ski when they want, the daily reservation limits will be pretty dang high and it'll probably only be an issue on those super hyped up storms during peak season and Saturdays.

Metrologist friend says it is a pretty major cold front. 40 degree change in 24 hours in September is gonna shock those new Colorado transplants.

Zero chance that early September snow melts out.
    Bring on the depth hoar.

Hopefully it will brief enough to not fuck up my tomato plants. Have 5 different varieties just getting to peak, probably 10 pounds of green on now.

I was commenting on the highlighted Sunday and Tuesday. Two days? Anything weather-wise can happen here in 2 days.

    Colorado Weather Discussion Thread

Whilst doing some housecleaning I came across what I believe is a $100 gift certificate (I will call tomorrow to confirm) to the Boulder Book Store. Does anyone have a reasonable cash offer or other gift card to exchange. I no longer live there although I am down occasionally so I could hold onto it but I would prefer to get rid of it. Thanks.

Looks like it's gonna be a pretty significant upslope. I bet the divide and foothills get plastered.

Assuming it's to Angry James brewing, I'll give you $3.50 and a pound of good bacon.
