get back to breck and it's raining here 37 - 39 degrees all day
it just started dumping big flakes, cooling down, there is hope
the snow is probably all icy so i'd give up on ski season now

It looks like it might be raining up to 10K. I've never seen this much rain this high this early.

It rains way more often there, than here.

Skiing was good today. But you would all know that, if you’d actually gone up.

Please. It's been raining up high in March for years now.

My advice: Relax and let the wet stuff pile up for a couple days. Heard it's going cold and blower for Saturday.

You're right... 8" at the Beav so far and it's absolutely nuking. Tomorrow will most definitely suck. I'll probably just sleep in and watch the Price is Right.

Pouring rain in eagle turned to MASSIVE fat flakes in Edwards. Now stuck behind a wreck at dowd.

The skiing at Vail this afternoon was getting pretty decent by 3:30, but it was raining up to 10k. Tomorrow is still gonna be good, but don't forget your base structure.

Loveland Pass (Grizzly) SNOTEL shows 16" of 10% density. 1.6" of SWE is a huge load to the snowpack, bigger than the last storm cycle, and we got it in about 16 hours. The decade level avalanche cycle may continue. A day to ride the lifts for sure.

18" in at Crested Butte, some gnar is gonna get ridden down there!

Destructive avalanche damaged a NG pipeline in Copper, I70 closed.

looks like it might be the best option for front rangers right now, since driving 70 now takes four hours each way

Did one of the sky chutes slide causing the pipe rupture? But that’s a mess.

    Yeah, slide hit the Conoco.

Everyone bitches about CDOT and road closures but they never close the highway at the tunnel when we need them most, like today.
