I was going up today but a sick kid sidelined the plan. Work obligations tomorrow. Might suffer the drive and head up the hill on Friday. Oh hell no to Sat or Sunday.

I'll be at Eldora Saturday and Sunday this week. No pearl clutching, just a little bitching.

mashed potatoes in the sun today. Time to think about heading out. I was ready to leave beginning of January but Wolf Creek really came around. Great season the snow stake was buried.Click image for larger version.

Thanks for the hospitality and tour guide dude. You’d catch some nice March and even April storms here. Pretty predicatabke most seasons will have them at least previous years. I know you have big lines waiting though.

As is typical with any Summit County storm, you move the decimal to the left, then divide by two. Hope it is enough to snarl traffic though, mostly because I love the word snarl.

You think Joel solicits bids through Thursday 7am and then hypes the storm for the highest offer? Steamboats marketing department must have deep pockets.

4" cumulative along the divide by Sunday. 3 closures and 2 hour golden to silverthorne peak traffic. You heard it here first folks. My crystal ball beats the fuck out of joelene-jo-joey

    Also, graupel layer last night

I’m going with 12” on the Divide, 16” at Beaver Creek. 5 long I70 closures and 3 hours Golden to Silverthorne at its peak due to trucks stuck in the right lane by Bakersville and a small avalanche spilling into I70 below Coon Hill.

Looked like rain clouds on the walk tonight.
Not getting cold until Monday so this may be a good water content storm.

Still puking big dense flakes. Taking a couple laps at Snowmass, then probably driving.

Loveland was deep but now closed for the day for power issues. Anyone here with touring gear?

Today was storm skiing at it's finest at Breck......13" and counting on the snowstake with refills and no lift line at the tbar. There was a line earlier, but after everyone rode up it once and experienced the wrath of Ullr in the alpine, they must've bailed.......very nice. No Whale's or Upper Peak 7 today.
