    flexons with intuition power wrap

planning to get a pair of intuition power wraps for a pair of flexons that are coming my way (thanks to changodeoro ).
anyone have any experience with this combination? ...or with flexons with intuition alpines?

am planning to use the flexon as a second everyday boot...but more specifically on days when i'll be skiing my dukes doing a bit of hiking and skinning

don't know whether the stiffer liner will defeat the flex+feedback of the flexon...and its hiking/skinning friendliness. downhill performance is my priority, but any input will be helpful...thanks.

My guess is this would be really similar to the touring boots with power wraps thing, might want to expand your query.

^^ thanks, i found some very relevant discussion here:

still any flexon specific feedback can only help - though it sounds like the power wraps will be a good fit for my needs...

I have the intuitions in my flexons. Love that combo. It make it a tad bit stiffer but the comfort and feel is great! As for touring, I don't know. I hiked in mine yesterday about 1300 vert feet and I was fine other than sweating my balls off!

Not 100% sure. They do wrap around the front of the shin. Here are a couple pics. Hope these help. They are actually Scarpa liners. Same as intuition I believe.

Intuitions are $116 shipped in the group buy, so that makes it a no brainer.

i'm in the minority here, but i prefer normal liners in my flexons cause they feel more precise to me and give me less shin bang.

    on a side note...

i have stupid skinny feet and have picked up a pair of atomic race tech 95mm boots for next year cause they have a very nice close fit. i've been trying to dial in the feel to match the flexons and what i've come up with is...take out the shim spoiler thing, take out the metal insert in the spine to give it a more upright stance. then to get that more 'immediate' feel in forward flex liek the flexon, i've taken those shims and put them back infront of my shins. is this total lunacy? i'm just trying to get the forward flex a bit firmer. bode used to chuck snickers bars in there, but then he got head to make the raptor more upright. i guess that's the thing i'm looking for
