That reminds me, I'm going to be up there in a month and would love to borrow someone's pass for a couple days if they aren't going to be around. Red jacket, tan pants, usually hanging around the top or bottom of the waterfall, dipping my balls in the syrup at the waffle haus, or smoking weed at the Bench.

    Thanks in advance!

The Bench? Thats for high schoolers and people from Jersey. Got to the Rabbits Nest, patrol won't bother you there.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'.

problem with the nest is that those who do know where it is are not inclined to speak of it. If I was skiing by someone and heard them telling a bunch of random people where the nest was I would silence them with a judo chop to the trachea.

I say let the randoms smoke weed at that one flat spot with the logs and shit on the way out to the planets and far bench, gives me someone to be glad i'm not as i'm skating by
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy

Good thing I didn't mention where it then. But its not the big secret that most poeple think it is.

There are plenty of places to smoke weed at stowe. I feel that a certain place should serve a greater purose for mountain people than purely as a smoke spot. I think thats what the founders would have wanted.

I agree with that. Especially given the history of a certain place in question. But, it is Stowe. Anywhere out of the way or not so out of the way is a good place to get stoned.

Wow, people smoke weed at Stowe?

Back on topic: I love reading about all your exploits, you guys are really showing that the EC is a place to be reckoned with. But...and there's always a but...I am so glad I am not one of your parents. Cuz I'd have to lecture you or something, and then I'd be taking my heart meds.

the last time i was home my mom sat me down and asked me what my living will was. You can bet its pretty easy to get "santa" to bring safety gear for christmas.

The random dude skinning was named peter He messaged me witht the pics.

My hit: Notthing too special for the drop but had an interesting blue ice/breakable crust appraoch.

One more cool shot of sam:

Again everyone remember, jumping off of cliffs is a horrible idea and nobody should ever do it... ever, we don't like bombed out landings... i mean its unsafe never do it.

But serously of anyone sees these pics and goes out hucking without doing the proper scoping and gets hurt we would all probably feel rather shitty. So don't do it.

Last year santa got me a sixsixone full face and some sixsixone body armour. This year he already got me an avalung and whippett (saved my ass the first day I used it) for some early season joy. I keep asking my parents if they want to consider lowering my health insurance deductable, it seems like a good idea bucause its at 5000 right now.

The skiing stuff never bothereed my folks too much, I don't think they understand how dangerous it can get. They got real sketched out this summer when I started doing a lot of big cliff and bridge jumps. My dad was a voulnteer fireman in Holderness for 35 years and had draged several of bodies out of livermore falls where my favorite bridge is.

Yeah, not sure how this turned into a lecture the youth thread. Come on....this is the raddest Right Coast TR I have seen, so big props.

No one is lecturing Alto for being a cliff hucking nut job.....in fact it is pretty expected from our Left Coast TRs.

My folks are actually really chill about my cliff pics, in fact they always want copies. The Donner Road gap was maybe one exception....after asking for copies they asked me all seriously to never do that one again.

Good shit guys... wonder when the last time (if ever) that has been hit in November.

Here's the Z-man stomping the same drop sometime about two seasons ago

Complete with comedic and triumphant camera punch to close it out:

I know a couple of the UVM boys, they know I'm just giving 'em a hard time. They also know that if I'm around when they're on the mountain, I'll ask if MisterSheSkisTrees can take pics.

If I knew Alto, I'd say the same to him.
