    dynastar powertrac 4x4?

So I keep finding apparent good deals on skis around vail. I have found a 186 dynastar powertrac 4x4 with flames, look p10 binder. I know these things are only 70 underfoot and 7 seasons old, but they are in great shape, look like they have been babied. $60. Is it worth it for an extra rock ski/groomer ski? Has anybody skied them?

Nice heavy skinny skis. Good for crushing mank. I wouldn't buy just because I don't need them, but if you have a place in your quiver... go for it.

think of it as $60 bindings, and a free ski. nice skinny ski

I realize times have changed. I ski on LP's everyday, I am not the "skinny skis rule" audience. I am curious if anybody has skied them, because right now in Vail/BC we have no snow, and I could use a cheap rock ski.

    you misunderstand.
Times have changed in that most women aren't skiing 186 supa stiff skis anymore.
    Note sister in italics.
Just getting a little nostalgic--I was on 204 Morrisons back then!
The dynastar was a good ski, but I'd save my money for some $150 powpluses or somthing.

I skied the 192's for a couple of seasons, it's a worthy ski. If you need rock boards, they would work. But I would be conserned with the P-10's.

4x4 Bigs were legendary and are worthy even today.

the powertracs are a bit skinny and a hardpack only ski. You might get more versatility out of a wider rock ski.
