Alta 1974
You know you want "the pants"...I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...
I come up hard, baby but now I'm cool I didn't make it, sugar playin' by the rules
If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Looked, but didn't find.
edit: should have searched for the video ID instead of words related to the subject

First time I skied Alta was in 71. Nobody skied the HO and you could count the tracks on Rustler a week after a storm.

I didn't know Boner City existed in 1974.

"A classic powder day from the 1973-74 Ski season at Alta Utah. The film stars, "The Swedes": Lowell (Rock) Nelson, Mark (Stein Erikson) Johnson and Wes (the Bird) Lindahl. We skied ~100 days on a $135 seasons pass."
Are any of those guys still skiing there?I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...

That day didn't suck. Neither did the skiing. Nor did the apparel.

Let's see, 1974, that would have made Xover about 3-4 years old then. Wonder if he was bumping people off the High-T back then?

That video brings back fond memories of the past. Hopefully it's also a foretelling of the season to come.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

It's OK, Tipp. That old music elicits a lot of emotion in me, too.

I never had the pants but I had a jacket that looked reeeeeally similar to that; a dark blue Roffe "wet-look" that was very
That video looks similar to some super 8 footage we shot up at Red in about 1975 or 76. Fun to watch the old school shit. And yes, for all you non-believers, we actually did ski powder like that on skis that were less than 80 mm in width, a LOT of powder. And it was fun.
