anybody have experience with loading movies onto your ipod and playing them back from the ipod through a television? experience any problems with this? just wondering before i buy...

Do you have an ipod video or ipod touch ?
I have many favorite dvds and videos.

Not sure about the ipod touch, but I believe with the ipod video, the video has to be encoded to the screen size of the ipod, which if you then pump it to a television, you would have to view it at that size, or enlarge it and loose quality.
