Yeah, I'm glad I ended up hitting it. Almost didn't. One nice big, fat, fluffy pillow to land in. I swear I was submerged for 2 or 3 seconds when I landed it was so damn deep in there. Perfect end to a perfect 3 days of skiing. It would be cool to film that through the trees going up the lift. Future project.

An Olympus E100 RS. It's over 3 years old, but still is a killer. I've bought two other digicams since, but the Oly is still my fav for shooting skiing. :biggrin:

You're right on all accounts! The E100 RS will shoot over 800 pics on a cold day without changing batteries. It doesn't mind subzero temps or getting snowed on. I never miss a shot because of the camera. (I miss some by still gaping some days :wink: ) I hope somebody will build something else like it, but updated, soon.

We had a full car long before you ever posted in the thread, and I made that clear in my post. Mountain Junkie PM'd me about a ride too but we were full. Sorry it didn't work out. If we had room for 5 that would've been great, but we didn't. Calling me while skiing pow in UT and asking me to call around and line a ride up for you seemed pretty ridiculous.

Yes, I did PM Mountain Junkie but unfortunately he did not get the message until late Saturday night. And yes, I know I was interested.

When I called you, I just asked if you knew anyone who wanted to head out to Utah. I didn't ask you to call around - if you knew someone, cool, if not, no big deal. I wasn't asking you set up a ride - I had the wheels - I just needed someone to go with and split the gas.

Fuck it, it doesn't matter now. I seriously am glad some CO mags, got out there to enjoy the goods though. Thinking about it, this conversation is taking away from a great post. Sorry, guys.

A short skin would get you in a sick position for some serious photogin'. Bring a 300mm or a teleconverter and you'll be set.
