Description:
The Teton Gravity Research New Media intern gains hands on, real world experience in the digital media, publishing, and interactive space. TetonGravity.com is viewed by over 500,000 people globally every month. As a result, interns have the chance to learn new skills, develop existing areas of interest, and play a large part in representing the brand over the course of the summer. Our site is one of the top snow sports destinations on the Internet serving up original content, aggregated content, videos, film information, merchandise, and the famous TGR forums.
The primary focus on the internship is to assist in the curation, posting, and syndication of content. Given the varied duties within the department, you could be tasked with a range of responsibilities depending on your skill set and drive to learn.
Core Responsibilities:
Upload, tag, and manage content – stories, videos, press releases, photos.
Monitor content analytics.
Tagging, titling, and featuring user generated content in the community.
Copy edit, and proofread web content.
Update and clean up all general incoming email accounts.
Assist in monitoring and responding to user issues via email, the forums, or social sites.
Post content to social media sites – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
Assist with video syndication to our partner sites.
Assist web designer.
Required Skills
Passion for action sports and the culture.
Proficient with online applications, social networks, industry blogs, video syndication sites, snow sports brands and athletes.
Microsoft Office Suite is a must, Adobe software preferred, HTML and CSS skills are bonus.
Ability to get it once, and work independently.
As an intern you’re a part of the team and represent TGR to the outside world. Professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must.

Production Internship: Winter / Summer
Status: Unpaid
Skills/Job Requirements:
Proficiency with Final Cut, Compressor, and DVD Studio a must.
Motion Graphics experience a plus.
A good understanding of the boardsports culture (especially skiing) a must.
Desire to learn about the inner workings of the production industry.
Discipline to follow a project from start to finish.
Hours: 30 per/week minimum
Housing: Not provided
Duration: 6 months or 1 school semester
