Video: Bernie Rosow Might Be the World’s Best 38-Year-Old Skier

How many 38-year-olds do you know that can stomp a switch 1080 and grease a blind-2 out on a long S-rail? And/or hike steep backcountry lines before hitting several large airs on the way down? There are probably a few floating around, but not too many. Or maybe we're underestimating the world's 38-year-old population, and there are hundreds of nearly-40 senders. The 38-year-old inspiring these questions, Bernie Rosow, has self-admittedly been living the ski bum's dream for nearly two decades, and doesn't seem to be slowing down in the slightest. Mammoth’s own. Best bc footy in the region. Cheers Bernie!

With minds like Yannick Boissenot’s and Pica Herry’s, new visions are certainly possible. That’s exactly what the bold duo did a few weeks ago, piecing together the first descent of the Couloir Beuf-Sarah on the Aiguille du Peigne. You know those signs at resorts that warn about gear getting caught in the chair lift, and your subsequent reaction that you think it'll never happen to you? Thanks to the quick thinking of personnel at Elk Mountain, Pennsylvania, this young skier spent only a few heart-stopping moments in that reality when her pole became lodged in the chair.  RELATED: Check Out TGR's Annual Safety Week According to reports, she was uninjured and wanted to return to the slopes shortly after her rescue.
