This year marked the 18th anniversary of Valparaiso, Chile’s legendary urban DH race – and it was a sight to behold. With fans lining the entire course, some relentlessly unforgiving stairs, super-tight corners, and even a few unpredictable dogs running down the course, racers from all over the world competed against the clock. When the dust settled, Germany’s Johannes Fischbach took 3rd, Czech Tomas Slavik took 2nd, and Chilean local Pedro Ferreira stood atop the podium.
