Beau Fredlund, aka the Wild Crow, is a unique member of Black Crows’ athlete squad, one who seeks solitude and peace in the mountains around Cooke City, Montana. The tiny town, nestled in the jagged mountains of Northern Yellowstone, is home to some of the best backcountry skiing and snowmobiling in North America, but shh we didn’t tell you that.

In Black Crows’ latest short film, Fredlund shows off his favorite lines and talks about how the town has shaped him as a skier. Whether its gearing up in the living room and skinning straight out the front door, or making friends with the abundant wildlife on the way, Fredlund knows his home is something special.

Cool story about the little town we used to live in. We actually lived in the same cabin, on the right side, as the author of this story, Beau. Though it was over 20 years ago, everything looks the same. Need to get back there soon!
