Video: Take a Tour of a Rivian R1T Electric Camper Truck
These days, #vanlife might be one thing, but what about #electrictrucklife? All jokes aside, with all the recent hype about Rivian’s new electric pickup truck, it’s about time we see someone convert the truck into a sick camper rig. Rivian showed up at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona with a tricked-out R1T electric truck complete with an electric stove, pop-up tent, and plenty of room for all the toys.

Take a tour of the truck, which Rivian bills as a fully-capable off-road vehicle. A battery-powered backcountry vehicle? Rivian claims the 180kWh battery can support the electric kitchen for weeks without a charge. The truck can produce 750 horsepower from its four electric motors, which should provide plenty of get-up-and-go for the 400-mile range. It can also wade through up to three feet of water. Too bad you can’t buy one until later this year.
