For better or worse, it's pretty imposing when you're up close and personal, as well. Luckily, Cody and his team, consisting of ski-mountaineer/cinematographer-extraordinaire Bjarne Salen and big-wave legend Ian Walsh, are used to imposing objectives.

A major goal of the trip was preparing Walsh for his planned ascent of Denali, which clearly worked out quite well, considering that he rode off the summit about a month later. For more on that expedition, see our story here.
