JHMR to Run Entirely on Wind Power, Effective Immediately

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort announced today that their facilities will be entirely powered by wind power, effective immediately. The resort is partnering with Lower Valley Energy to utilize electricity generated at Idaho's Horse Butte Wind Farm, according to the Buckrail

“We are constantly seeking ways to reduce our impact on the environment and making the transition to running Jackson Hole’s full mountain operations on wind-powered energy is a big step that aligns with JHMR’s core values,” said JHMR Chief Brand Officer Tyler LaMotte in a press release.
