Jackson Hole and Big Sky See More Snow Accumulation

Cody Bowl got a fresh coat of paint this morning. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort webcam image.

It might just be the start of fall, but mother nature sure has been getting some wintry feelings in the mountains around Jackson Hole and Big Sky. With the first snow of the season already falling a few weeks ago, more significant accumulation is falling in Wyoming and Montana. This morning, we were treated to a mountain bike lap off the top of the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram in full-on winter conditions.

The forecast is calling for a storm to hit Friday and Saturday, bringing up to 10 inches across the mountains from Sun Valley to Big Sky to the Tetons. Snow levels will range from 7000-8000 feet.

Could've probably brought skis up to Rendezvous Bowl today. Meg Matheson photo.
