Freeskier Hugo Hoff Killed in Accident on Mont Blanc

On May 30th, 20-year-old professional freeskier Hugo Hoff passed away following an accident on the Mont-Blanc Massif. Few details on the accident have emerged, but Sky Sports Italy is reporting that Hoff fell over 2,000 feet to his death in the Gervasutti Couloir. His partner, who was also injured in the accident, is expected to shed more light on the situation.

Hoff came in second overall in the 2017 Freeride Junior Tour, and was widely expected to compete on the Freeride World Tour.
