With the snow quickly melting and our favorite patches of singletrack emerging from the mud, it’s almost time to break out our mountain bikes for the summer. But wait! The world isn’t quite what it was last fall when we put them away for the winter. To help navigate getting back on the trails with COVID-19 now part of our everyday reality, our friends over at Mountain Bike the Tetons put together some pointers to make it easier, keep us all safe, and keep the fun alive. Executive Director Tony Ferlisi says, "Just want people to keep in mind that their actions could impact others and that our trails (here, at least) need time before they're ready."

Be PATIENT – The trails aren’t quite ready. Riding through OR going around mud will have permanent negative effects.
Respect Social Distancing Rules – When the trails are ready and as soon as the Idaho “Stay at Home” order is lifted, please continue to adhere to the guidelines. Stay at least 6 feet, or 2 Pulaskis or 2 bike lengths apart!
Leave Your Ego At The Trailhead – Ride safely and slowly to avoid any unnecessary risks.

Work On Slow Riding Skills – (i.e. opposite foot forward, proper body positioning, wheelies at home).
