Owen Leeper Finds a Tight Colorado Couloir

Even as June slips away, Colorado's alpine snowpack is still solid. As a case in point, Owen Leeper recently investigated some lines in and around Yankee Boy Basin in southern Colorado. Yankee Boy offers incredible late-season skiing, with noteworthy lines including the Snake Couloir on Mt. Sneffels and the couloirs off Stony Mountain.

Owen Leeper is known for going to extreme lengths in pursuit of late-season turns, so it's virtually certain that this won't be the last we'll see of his skiing until next year.
