The deserts of southern Utah are a wild, existential place to ride a mountain bike. Cross-country networks like Goosebury Mesa wind through undulating landscapes of rock that resemble Stone Age skateparks. In other parts, high mesas corrode away and make spiney drip castle-like peaks that provide the big mountain ski-style lines and massive drops and hucks that you see annually when the Red Bull Rampage comes to town.
The crazy trail that St. George local Logan Binggeli takes you down in this POV journey/nightmare is even more out of some kind of twisted Imaginationland, with steep bracketed switchbacks leading into a bevy of double jumps and sketchy gaps, culminating in a dried-out slot canyon with wallrides and drops and gaps until finishing out in a pile of trash. It looks... fun?
