Who Wants To Own A Ski Company? Bluehouse Skis Is Giving Theirs Away

Bluehouse Skis are known for keeping their ski prices cheap by selling directly to the consumer and cutting out retail. Bluehouse Skis photo.

Bluehouse Skis has just announced that they are closing shop and giving away their entire ski company... FOR FREE!! Anyone can create a video explaining why they want to own a ski company, send it into Bluehouse, and possibly become the next owner.

A statement released by Bluehouse Skis Tuesday on TGR's forums read "as a thanks to the community that helped us get started we are offering our ski company, free of charge, to the next generation."  According to the statement, the current owners have had their focus pulled in other directions so that they can no longer provide the attention Bluehouse Skis deserves. "After long consideration of selling what is left of the company, we decided that this would be more fun to pass the baton to new ownership."

Although they did sell off a few assets, much of what is needed to make skis remains with the company and will be inherited by the new owner. This includes an adjustable ski press, various molds, a flatbed sublimation graphic press, and a few thousand dollars worth of miscellaneous raw materials.
