    MPC #40: Imbalance (Oct 18 - Nov 2)
    RULES:
    1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
    2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
    3. The contest moderator will choose 5 photos to be voted on.
    4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
    5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
    6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
    7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.

For the theme, I'm thinking imbalances in exposure, in composition, in subject matter, or whatever other interpretation you guys have got.

Was bored at work... Looks like an imbalance with my prof's comments on my homework...

Dead leaf, background is a colorful tree, shows the imbalance of late fall

Wes, that leaf shot is awesome, is that from an 18mm or closer?

not that happy with this shot but its because of the difficulty in getting correct exposure/framing the shot due to the imbalence

Not sure if I want these in or out yet. Just thought I'd share. Shot today, pretty much straight out of the camera, minus some cropping.

I really should have poded the graffiti one. I'm sure it lost some sharpness with me hand holding it.

This is the worst pain EVER!

    It's a 36mm extension tube on a 50mm 1.8

Imbalance of photographer climbing icy & abandoned structures

Unbalanced trees in a balanced composition

Foot-out moto style while sliding through a turn covered in wet leaves. Dont even get me started on that goofy, lopsided fork.

Here goes my attempt. This is actually a true life story of the imbalance in my life. Most of my time goes towards the stethoscope these days, but the skis and bike await...
