I heard that there's an extensive SA travelling section in this great thread called "Just the tip" or something...down in the HOF.

    I hate you.

Don't worry, I'm building momentum on that front. First thing first, find my sources.

You wouldn't believe how many threads there are regarding SA. Hopefully this little effort will help cut down on the number of inane questioning, and hopefully I can finish this before my client responds to my last question and I have to go back to work!

EDIT: client sent back, got to go for now...

Tentative plans have me surfacing in the Bariloche region around September 1 and then making my way toward Lenas (weather pending). Nothing concrete yet- probably won't even have my flights nailed down until July.

I'm thinking about it... what are the odds that I'll find a job that starts in late September or early October?

Yoss, my 05 thread was from Lenas only. I'm trying to remember if I ever got off my lazy ass and posted an 04 TR. I only have a billion pics from that trip. I still remember that trip like it was yesterday.

Oh and did any of the pics from Stairway to Heaven come out?

I've been searching valiantly for the lyrics to Chairway to Heaven (From the Rev?) - perhaps deleted on the old pow mag board. Yoss, you have a copy of those anywhere? Can't get that damn song out of my head

See you there! My current flight pattern has me in Argentina Aug 23-Sept 8...a couple of days in BA on each end of the trip and Bariloche between.

Monique - It's going to be a blast. I'm so pleased you buckled to the sales pitches delivered during so many lift rides this winter.

I think Mrs Brit is as excited that you're coming as she is about going herself.

I know I found 2004 stuff too though...maybe forgot to link it.
    I can find it again...

I do have some stuff from powmag board and 2003 saved somewhere but it'd take some re-construction efforts...

Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT, let Mrs. PNWBrit become your wine sommelier (unless you want to try ALL of the wines in one night)

As with most things SA, it is always a good idea to follow Squirrel's lead. I'm 99% on for Argentina/Chile the week of September 1, but without a specific place in mind...

Wait I thought I polished off their entire cellar the last time she was in charge.

Thanks Yoss...this thread will save me some time

So in discussion with mum, we'll be heading to Bariloche and skiing mostly Cerro Catedral in late August or early September, depending what will be the cheapest time to fly. The fact that there are a lot of Slovenians that have settled in Bariloche and that CC has 70% beginner and intermediate terrain won her over. So a solo or group trip to LL is going on the list for next year.

Thanks for those mags who recommended southamericaski.com...their services will be very helpful.

Added note: Just checked out some of the Bariloche TR...yayayay! FKNA. Time to finalize details and get daily snow reports to my e-mail account...praying for snow snow snow!
