Winterland World Premiere & Far Out Fest Recap
Popular Stories
For nearly a quarter century running, Teton Gravity Research has celebrated the beginning of winter with the World Premiere of our annual ski and snowboard film at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This past weekend, we were proud to present Winterland to a sold-out crowd of stoked guests. The world premiere of the film was surrounded by the festivities of our second annual Far Out Fest, with JHMR opening their bike park and live music from the likes of The Elovaters and Luke Mitrani.
The late show, as always, was sold out with guests spilling into the aisles and the floor of Walk Festival Hall to witness the best skiers and snowboarders shred huge lines all over the world. Whether it was the opening segment, set to the tune of the record-breaking winter we all saw here in Jackson, or further segments that showcased skiing from Norway to the Alps to Alaska, the crowd erupted in cheers.
Thank you to everyone who helped kick off our Shop For a Cause event at the World Premiere. For 24 years, the TGR world premiere has been a fundraiser for local charity partners; in addition, many of our shows around the world are fundraisers for various organizations, including many environmentally-focused charities like Protect our Winters. Estimates show our films have raised well over $1 million for charity over the years. We can still do more.

Thank you also to all those who came out and supported the film, including all the athletes and fans that attended and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, The North Face, High West Distillery and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
