Whistler's Horstman T-Bar, which over the course of its 33-year lifespan provided access to some of North America's finest summertime skiing, has been removed. Since its installation in 1987, the rope tow hauled everyone from professional racers and freestylers to amateur shredders up the Horstman Glacier, but those days are over.

The glacier's rapid shrinkage has been an issue for years, causing the cancellation and closure of terrain parks and camps, but nothing says "It's almost over" like the complete removal of an iconic feature like the Horstman T-Bar.
