This winter at Nazaré brought day after day of massive waves and sublime riding conditions, making it a big wave season for the history books. Footage and edits of the epic waves have been a dime a dozen online, but Nuno Dias’ season edit is as Grande as its title implies. It has everything from pinning it straight down veritable walls of water to some of the gnarliest wipeouts in surfing, when those walls of water fall over and swallow riders alive.
