Watch: This Skier Sends a Backflip to the Kuiper Belt

Every year, the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championship is a sure bet for some rowdy riding, with huge cliffs, sketchy snow, and riders that have had all season to get strong. 

This year’s event saw some classic textbook sending go down, but Albin Holmgren’s backflip takes the cake. What starts off as an already impressively large cliff drop turns into Holmgren sending a backie to the outer reaches of space. Was that a little bit of a backslap? Probably, but good luck to anyone stomping something like this perfectly clean.
