WATCH NOW: FWT22 Stop #3 – Kicking Horse, BC

Since 2018, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC has been Freeride World Tour’s home in North America. With the fourth-largest vertical drop on the continent, Kicking Horse is renowned for its steep, challenging terrain and cold, dry powder snow. The competition venue Ozone was historically a permanently closed area, but thanks to cooperation between FWT and Kicking Horse it has since become an iconic competition venue (that also opens to the public when conditions allow). With new rules this year, the third stop of the 2022 Freeride World Tour gives riders one final chance to qualify for one of 25 spots in the remaining two comps – the FWT Finals in Fieberbrunn, Austria and Verbier, Switzerland. Riders who fail to make the cut will be relegated to the FWQ finals, where they will have a chance to requalify for next year’s tour.
