Video: Proximity Wingsuiting in the Alps

When it comes to jaw-dropping POV footage, wingsuit proximity-flights are hard to beat. As a case in point, this GoPro award-winning video is simultaneously breathtaking and puckering. It's tough to say exactly how far Brendan Weinstein, the wingsuit pilot, is from the Weisshorn, but what's certain is that he is far too close for comfort.

Weinstein's flight leaves virtually no room for error as he scrapes snowy ridges and winds through narrow canyons, but our intrepid pilot stays cool as a cucumber.
