That about sums up Michigan’s Daniel Schetter, better known as Surfer Dan. Surfing the Great Lakes is a special kind of fun, involving sub-zero temperatures and lots of frozen facial hair. Those kinds of extremes build a strong bond between the community, and Surfer Dan embraces that fully, dedicating his life to surfing Lake Superior.
