Video: Teahupo’o Was Too Big For the Tahiti Pro Trials

This past weekend, the world's best surfers descended on Teahupo'o for the Tahiti Pro. Everything was looking good: Solid weather, decently-sized waves, etc... However, when the designated day dawned, it became clear that the "decently-sized" waves were actually massive death-barrels.

The event was delayed, precipitating one of the biggest and best free-surf sessions in recent history. It was massive and scary, but who better to take it on than the world's best professional surfers?
