Video: Surfing the Zambezi River Wave in Africa

For all those landlocked surfers itching to catch a wave, it's completely possible. It’s just a matter of how much you want to work for it. Surfers Koby Oberholzer and Roydon Bryson got crafty and set their sights on a particularly coveted wave deep in the heart of Africa. Located in Zambia is the Zambezi river and on it, a beautiful wave emerges for a short period of time.

The crew embarked on an adventure to find this elusive wave and spread awareness about a troubling hydro-electric power project that is currently in the works. If it comes to fruition, Africa’s iconic river wave would disappear. For the full story check out Zig Zag Magazine
