Two of the World’s Best Surfers Search for Slabs in Scotland

TGR and Outside TV's “A Life in Proximity” series features a legendary surfer and their counterpart from the next generation paired together.  In episode one, follow Hawaii natives Albee Layer and Shane Dorian as they explore the rugged coast of Scotland to find the heaviest waves possible.

Albee and Shane represent two distinct generations in the big wave surfing world. Both will leave a lasting mark on the sport and this episode is an opportunity to explore what surfing means to them, all while riding waves that have never been captured before.
