Tia Blanco: The Story of a Surfing Girl

Tia Blanco is budding professional surfer. At the mere age of 19, she is doing things in the industry that most surfers never get to experience. Born in Purerto Rico and having grown up in San Diego and Hawaii, she was never far from the beach. These places are what fueled her passion for surfing and these locations were key to her success. She also consistently donates to two charities and enjoys helping those who are less fortunate than she is.

As a part of a Sony Action Cam project, Artisan of Imagery Gabe Rogel and Sony Action Cam athlete Tia Blanco teamed up to work on a short 4k perspective of her life in surfing called "My Journey". Rogel and Blanco spent just a short time working together, but the end result is a beautifully shot 4K video of her story of surfing. Rogel's shots provide a new angle into an otherwise already beautiful surfing career.
