Ten Buck Chuck – Shredding A $10 Surfboard

Editor's Note: Tate MacDowell is part of the TGR family and a long-time former employee of ours. And while he's since moved on to sunny SoCal, he hasn't lost his passion for dirtbaggin', coming across a $10 surfboard the other day. Hard to pass up, and looks like however waterlogged and beat up it is, it's giving Tate plenty of good times and good turns in the water.

Bought this old board at a garage sale in Leucadia, CA for $10. I saw the Clark Foam logo on it and instantly wanted it. When the lady said $10, I couldn't give her the money fast enough. 

She said she just wanted to give it to someone that's going to enjoy it as much as they had. Thought I'd share that lady's request with others. I've definitely been having more than ten bucks worth of fun on it!
