You’ve got some have some grit to surf in Ireland. It’s cold, windy, and the slabs are unforgiving. But Nic Von Rupp is no stranger to less than ideal conditions. Having surfed everything from Nazaré to Spain’s heaviest slabs, he’s learned to cope with the elements. Surfing in Ireland is not easy by any means, but it’s also rewarding if you’re willing to work for it like Von Rup.
