Mick Fanning Shares His At-Home Surf Workout

Surfing has been put on hold for many because of the pandemic. While nothing beats being in the water, three-time world champion Mick Fanning at least has this awesome home workout to keep you busy while stuck inside. According to the surfer, this “easy” 20-minute sequence was his normal workout routine before competitions. Apparently, squatting on an exercise ball is “easy”, seriously Mick? In all seriousness, a workout ball is a great substitute for building balance on a surfboard.

The workout is a fun challenge to improve on while you count down the days until the beaches reopen. Unfortunately, Fanning left out his shark wrestling techniques, but at least the rest of it will make you stronger in the water.
