Laird Hamilton Tests Out SUP Foilboard

The world's most famous waterman is out in the lineup with another bizarre combination of board and paddle. In this video (which is expertly shot), Laird demonstrates his prowess on a foil-sup board. For those who have not seen the technology, essentially it's a surfboard attached to a hydrofoil, which allows Laird to fly over the water even if the wave doesn't break.
