Dylan Graves Teaches Nigerian Groms On Artificial Island In Africa

Dylan Graves is back for another wacky episode of “Weird Waves”, and this time he’s headed to Africa. In this episode, Dylan is joined by Dane Gudauskas as they make their way down to Tarkwos Bay, Nigeria, for a breath of fresh air that’s only a taxi boat ride away from the capital city of Lagos.

Weird Waves is known for finding flavorful waves around the world, but we think that this may be one of the most obscure places we’ve seen so far. In this small community, surfing is still a brand-new sport entering people’s lives. The people of Tarkwos Bay have taken the sport to heart and built a lifestyle around it. This episode reminds us to leave our egos on the beachfront and not take surfing too seriously.
