Could This Be The Biggest Wave Ever Surfed?

Footage of 29 year-old big wave surfer Tom Butler surfing the massive swell which hammered Nazare, Portugal on December 14th has led some to claim that the previous big wave record, set by Rodrigo Koxa in November 2017, has been broken.

While debate swirls, the issue is unlikely to be decided until the WSL Big Wave Awards in April, 2019.  Either way, that is one big wave.  Tom had this to say on social media:

We always make a cause of changes in our management because of following issue. We have never shown interest in outcall service but since now we have also started this service to the needy clients then will no need to travel much in this respect just make contact and get this service at your places.
